1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Mathrix online learning platform (mathrix.lk), operated by Mathrix. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Services

Mathrix provides live online Zoom classes for Mathematics and Information Technology, covering Grades 6 through 11 (O/L) of the Sri Lankan national curriculum. Classes are available in Tamil and English medium.

3. Registration & Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Parents or guardians must register on behalf of students under 18 years of age.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Live Classes & Recordings

  • Live classes are conducted via Zoom at scheduled times communicated in advance.
  • Class recordings are provided for enrolled students to review missed sessions.
  • Recordings are for personal educational use only and must not be shared, redistributed, or commercially exploited.
  • Mathrix reserves the right to modify class schedules with reasonable notice.

5. Payments & Refunds

  • Course fees are communicated at the time of enrollment inquiry.
  • Payments must be made through approved channels (bank transfer, online payment, or as directed).
  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of enrollment and before attending more than 2 live sessions.
  • No refunds will be issued for partially completed courses after the refund window.

6. Student Conduct

  • Students must behave respectfully during live sessions.
  • Disruption of classes, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will result in removal.
  • Sharing class access credentials with non-enrolled individuals is prohibited.

7. Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, recordings, and resources are the intellectual property of Mathrix and its instructors. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

Mathrix provides educational services on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee specific exam results or grades. Technical issues with Zoom or internet connectivity are beyond our control, though we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule affected sessions.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
